Quickie: Yoshi and the Mushroom Serpent!

So here's another quick lil drawing I had lying around. So I do freaking love Yoshi, he's like my favorite Mario species, I had been meaning to redraw the old Kaa > Yoshi drawing but... if you've noticed I growing tired of drawing the same snakes over and over so...heres another new one to add to my list!

So this is a Mushroom serpent, a natural predator of the Mushroom Kingdom. Tend to keep themselves out of sight and camouflage in with surrounding Mushrooms, they slither silently to creep on any unsuspecting prey they might come across. Their coloured red with white spots and their under belly are a soft pale cream colour. They en-trance their prey through their Mushroom spores which disperse out of their tail-ended mushroom. Breathe them in and you lose yourself as you slip into a  bliss hypnotic trance.  So you literally end up "on shrooms!"

In this Illustration, while scavenging about for food, a poor Yoshi has found himself at the mercy of the said Serpent, as he inhales the entrancing Mushroom spores and falls limb as the serpents firm Mushroom dotted coils wrap around him and trap him in a tight bind. He might not be joining Mario on another adventure any time soon....
