Description

A request from :iconjordanbrandon8: who wanted me to draw Simbo from the lion king being coiled and hypnotised by Kaa.

During the time Simba was living with timon and pumbaa, Simba got himself lost in the large Jungle and encounters a mysterious Python who hypnotises and coiles the young Lion cub.

I'll be honest with you, even with all your improvements, I feel like this is still one of my favorites of your work.


The shape of the coils, how the neck isn't exposed, the expression on the cub's face, and how the tail tip is stroking his head, possibly wiping away the sweat. It all comes together in a cohesive piece.


Your older art, unlike those of a few others, has surprisingly aged well as far as I'm concerned.
